Osiyo,
As the old year gives way to the new, my family and I send our warmest hopes to each of you, near and far.
Serving as your voice on the Tribal Council remains my deepest honor. Carrying the trust, stories, and hopes of more than 330,000 at-large citizens guides my work every single day. I am continually inspired by the strength of our at-large community.
This time of reflection reminds us all of the unbreakable bonds we share. From our family to yours, may the coming year be filled with the warmth of kinship, the comfort of our traditions, and a growing spirit of generosity.
Charybel, Jonathan, Joseph, and I wish you a New Year of peace, prosperity, and joy. I will continue working tirelessly alongside you for our shared future in the chapters ahead.
With respect and gratitude from the Kidwell family,
Johnny Jack Kidwell
Speaker of the Council
At-Large District
Council of the Cherokee Nation
