This site is operated by Cherokee Gadugi of Tarrant County as a chartered satellite, non-profit, non-political organization of the Cherokee Nation. Its mission is dedicated to providing history, culture, heritage, tradition, language, and fellowship to our members who reside outside the Cherokee Nation boundaries.

Harry Oosahwee was recognized as a Cherokee National Treasure for sculpture. His career encompasses a wide range of media and experience. See his sculpture, paintings and carvings in a new exhibit which explores his creative versatility.

Celebrate Cherokee culture with a variety of artist demonstrations and performances in the museum courtyard. Each participating artist has been recognized as a Cherokee National Treasure for their significant contribution to the preservation of Cherokee culture. The museum is located at 215 W. Illinois Ave, Vinita, OK.
