Approval of membership applications is at the discretion of the Cherokee Gadugi Council. Membership will not be considered until the completion of application form AND payment of dues. The Cherokee Gadugi and Cherokee Community Outreach By-Laws require us to maintain a minimum of sixty percent (60%) of its members as registered Cherokee Nation Citizens. If less than sixty percent of the total members are Cherokee Nation citizens, and if applicants are not Cherokee Nation citizens, they may initially be granted subscriber status. Subscribers are welcome to participate fully and equally in all activities except for voting in our elections. They may later become members, as percentages permit, in the chronological order of their joining as subscribers.
