COMMUNITY & CULTURAL OUTREACH

During the awards' banquet of the 21st Annual Cherokee Leadership Conference in Tulsa this June, The Gadugi Sisters Award was given to an on-reservation group, the Cherokee Cemetery Restoration Organization to honor their work restoring historical cemeteries.
Their at-large sister group, Cherokee Gadugi Tarrant County, jointly received the honor for our work together with the reservation group to accomplish those restorations.
The award is pictured to your left, something our organization can take great pride earning! Our members support Leta Goodman as she accepts the award below.l
