Cherokee Gadugi donates to Oklahoma's Native American Basketweavers Association!

At the Oklahoma Association's Fall Weave A Thon, representing our organization, Leta Goodman Jones, President Cherokee Gadugi (center,) presents a donation check - Accepting for the Oklahoma Basketweavers, President Rose Drake (Leta's right) acknowledged the significant impact to their program our generosity provides. Also in the photo above, their Secretary/Communications person, Barbara Hair (Leta's left) and book ended from our Texas group, Amy Derton (left) and Bill Goodman (right.)

The Cherokee Gadugi Tarrant County donation allows the Oklahoma Native American Basketweavers Association to continue to teach tribal weaving relative to their members tribes! A portion of our donation will enable their November One Day Weave's supplies and venue.
